This Butterfly Fund has been set up in the memory of Sophie Harling who passed away from Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 on 22nd October 2016.
Sophie was a beautiful and very cheeky baby who adored playing with people, charming them all with her amazing smile. She achieved so much in her 10 months, supported superbly by the specialist equipment and emotional support we received from the Ally Cadence Trust.
The specialist pram and car seat enabled us to take Sophie safely, and comfortably, on a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris with our whole family. She adored the bright lights and took great enjoyment in pulling Pluto's whiskers.
We will always be grateful for the support of the Ally Cadence Trust and know that Sophie would want to help other babies and their families spend time together making memories.
All money donated through this Butterfly Fund will be used to help other families with an SMA Type 1 diagnosis, through the provision of both emotional and financial support and the loaning of specialist equipment.
Cheques and postal orders should be made out to "Ally Cadence Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy" with Sophie Harling written on the back, and sent to;
Ally Cadence Trust for SMA,
