Ophelia Rose is a wonderful little girl, who's smile lit up everyone's day. Even though she has seen the sun set...Fi Bear still spreads love and joy to all around.
We, as her family, managed to give Ophelia the best life possible with the help of The Ally Cadence Trust who supplied us with a car seat in which Fi was able to lay down comfortably in, sensory toys that she could actually enjoy and an apnea monitor that at night time we were able to clip onto her nappy which would alarm us if she were to stop breathing.
Just a few memories we were able to give Ophelia was a trip to Disneyland, which we wouldn't have gone to if we didn't have Emma and Karl at the end of the phone, trips out that were more than a 15 minute drive away, as we were happy and comfortable knowing Fi was comfortable in the car seat and many many more.
Knowing that we had ACT just a phone call away really took a weight off our shoulders. They were the first people we called when our beautiful, beautiful Ophelia grew the most wonderful angel wings.
The things that this charity manage to do baffle me, and without the help of all you wonderful people they wouldn't be around to help people like us. The fact that they have done something so wonderful and thoughtful in honour of their lovely baby girl Ally, is a new kind of strength as they re-live what they went through just to help and keep their baby girls memory alive, and most importantly to make sure families have the things they need to make their time with their daughter, grandchild, niece etc. the best is could be.
So we thank them, and we will continue to thank them and to help them carry on helping others??
